Team History and Progress

The University of Newcastle has been a participant in the RobotX Competition since its inception in 2014. In 2024, NU Marine will compete in its fifth RobotX event, following previous appearances in Singapore (2014), Hawaii (2016, 2018), and Australia (2022). Over the years, both the team and their hardware and software designs have continually evolved. For 2024, the team aims to build a well-documented knowledge base to serve as a lasting foundation for future teams. They are also focused on increasing younger members' involvement and ensuring a smooth, comprehensive transfer of knowledge between team cycles.
